The arena has developed into a well-known sports hotspot and is a meeting place for elite and junior athletes, leisure athletes, clubs and sports associations. The biathlon world cup will be hosted here in December 2023 and, 2025 the IBU World Championships will take place in the arena. ESOC and several national ski-orienteering races have been hosted at the Roland Arena as well.
